The European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) CALYPSO is named after the goddess Calypso, who according to mythology resided on the island of Malta.
According to mythology, the goddess Calypso, through her human nature, had the ability to entertain with her beauty and enchanting voice and was able to control the weather and sea storms to help sailors in distress and to protect people on her island by hiding them from the world’s view.
Just as in mythology the goddess Calypso protected men on the island of Malta, CALYPSO European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) aims to protect and help its members face the adversities and difficulties that life and business can bring.
